Recording Industry Association of Vietnam is a non-profit, non-government organizations that was established in 2003. Major Mission of RIAV is the protecting of legal rights and profits of Vietnamese recording producers, follow the provisions of Intellectual Property Law system. RIAV is running as a Collecting management organization (CMO), a new and special model organization. CIS pround to be the only one consultant for all of activities in RIAV. Vietnam Literary Copyright Center is a collecting management organization in literary field, an unit of Vietnam Writer Association.. Major mission of VLCC is the protecting legal rights and profits of the rights owner for literary works, VLCC is the bridge og users and writers. The Norwegian Copyright Development Association (Norcode) was established 26 October 2007 by five collective management organisations: BONO, Gramo, Kopinor, Norwaco and TONO. The founding member organisations have made a commitment to fund the activities of Norcode with 15 million Norwegian kroner (almost USD 3 million) during 2008–2010. Norcode aims to get additional funding from governmental and private organisations. Through Norcode, Norwegian rightsholders want to share their experience in the organisational and cultural field with colleagues in other countries. The Association’s objective is to carry out international development work in the copyright field, including: • providing an introduction to international conventions and training and assistance in developing legislation • working to develop basic organisations for holders of copyright and related rights • supporting the formation of organisations for collective rights management • other organisational and technical projects which strengthen right holders’ interests This may take place through professional and technological assistance, the development of expertise and other measures that are suitable for achieving the aforementioned objectives. In accordance with its objective, the Association shall • encourage Norwegian right holders and their organisations to make international efforts, and support these organisations’ international projects • develop cooperation with and apply for funding from public authorities and private organisations The Association has no financial objectives as such.
